Once upon a time there was a little salmon by the name of Sam. |
Sam lived in the Cascapedia River, one day while swimming an eel chased him down the river.
Sam got caught in a big machine with some other little salmon.
Some humans cut his fin and then put him back into the river.
Sam swam down the river again and found himself in some deeper water, he continued swimming until he ended up in the ocean.
He went to school to learn how to avoid being caught be the big fishing nets and the seals.
Years went by and Sam wanted to return to his home.
He entered the Cascapedia River as a full grown salmon.
While heading up the river he made friends with another salmon named Timothy, he told Sam to be careful about eating flies in the river because some of them were really sharp.
One day while cooling off at the bottom of a pool, Sam saw some flies landing on the water.
He was awfully hungry so he decided to try and catch one. But when Sam grabbed the fly it stuck into the side of his mouth and he couldn't get it out.
Something started to pull him out of the water, the next thing he knew he was looking at a lady with a big floppy hat.
She reached into Sam's mouth and unhooked the fly, then she put him back into the water!
Sam found Timmy and told him all about what happened and they told all of their friends in the river.
