Mutual aid

We would like to thank everyone who helped with our St Patrick’s weekend March 17-19, 2006. The performers & workers for the concert, the decoration & setting up of the hall & the clean up afterwards, the people who donated their time & food, the firemen for helping people to park, the Eagles Club for the lights, the bartenders at the pub, & all the people who worked. Thanks to the local stores for their generous contributions. A special thank you to all who came out & enjoyed their weekend & helped make this another successful year. Over the weekend we raised $2 616.18. $2 000 was given directly to the church & the other $616.18 will be used by local groups to help with church & town activities.

Grass Cutting Bids
The Municipality is presently accepting bids for grass upkeep for the Municipal hall, youth centre and the Memorial Park. Bids will be accepted until 3:30 pm March 31st and will be opened at the regular council meeting of April 3rd.
