Celebrate with us the spring arrival on Saturday May 13th.  Shop and save with our opening sale CASH AND CARRY for ONE day only.  (No sale on lay away).  Gift certificates are available, what a great idea for Mother’s Day…Don’t miss the spring arrival loaded with savings, from 9 to 5, on Saturday only, at your local greenhouse, Les Serres Jean Bellis, in Cascapedia-St-Jules.

SPRING CLEAN-UP
Will be held on Sunday May 7th this year.  We are asking volunteers to meet at the Town Hall for 9:00 AM to pick up garbage bags & safety vests and to find out which roads need to be done.  Come out and show your community pride by helping out.

EAGLE`S CLUB
Annual Bottle Drive
will be held on May 13th. Children from the Community will be going door to door collecting bottles to support the Youth Center, skating rink and projects for the kids.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

DRY DUMP

The dry dump on Patrickton Road will be opened as of May 6th, every Saturday afternoon from 1 PM to 4 PM until further notice.  There will be a container available for the first afternoon, so if you have items that can not be recycled or put in with the regular garbage such as carpets, linoleum & upholstered furniture make sure you bring it

 

on May 6th, after this date these items will no longer be accepted.  Any items that can be recycled or put out with the regular garbage will not be accepted at the dry dump, and you will have to provide proof of residency to the supervisor, non-residents will be turned away.  Thank You.

OPEN AIR FIRES
As of May 1st open air fires are prohibited.  Please respect the By-Law; it is for everyone’s safety.

DAY CAMP
There will be a Day Camp run by the Eagles Club this year which will be starting June 26th and going until the children return to school in the fall.  If you have any of the following items to donate could you please drop them off at the Town Hall: coffee cans, children’s movies, costumes, a trunk, small children’s pool, picnic basket, board games and any baking items (utensils, pans, ingredients, etc.)  We thank you for your help.

MENTAL ILLNESS
Is someone close to you suffering with mental illness?  Do you need to relax?  Resource days will be held the 20 & 21 of May. Learn writing with Mrs. Louise Portal & Mr. Jacques Hébert, bonsai with Mrs. Linda Chicoine, & painting with Mr. Claude Lucier.  Registration before May 5th is obligatory.  For more info.
