FALL FESTIVAL EVENTS
Soap Box Derby
Registration deadline is October 2nd, forms can be picked up at the Town Hall, Depanneur K&M and Sexton & Sexton.
**Please note that Route Gallagher will be closed from 11:30 to 1:30 on Saturday between McKay and the Municipal Grounds.  All Access to the Hall will be via Irishtown – no exceptions!
There will be an Ecumenical Service held at the St. Jules Church Friday, Oct. 6th at 5:30pm to kick off the Fall Festival Weekend. Everyone is welcome!
New Residents
Refreshments will be served on Friday Oct 6th at 7:30 pm at the Town Hall to welcome the new residents of Cascapedia-St-Jules. All new residents are invited and the population is welcome to attend.

Ham & Turkey Supper
There will be a ham & turkey supper provided by Au Fin Gourmet on Saturday Oct 7th from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm at the Municipal Hall.  The cost  for adults is $9.00 & for children 12 & under the cost is $7.00. 

Brunch

Sunday Oct. 8th from 8am to 12pm there will be a breakfast

 

 

during the Fall Festival provided by Au Fin Gourmet.  The cost is $6.00.
People can pick up a schedule of events at businesses from Carleton to Paspébiac.

A big thank you to all those who participated in the walk.  Thank you to William Jerome for collecting donations in Gesgapegiag and thank you to all of our Volunteers, without you this would not be possible.  This year our total was    $3 750.00.                    We hope to see you all next year.

Fire Prevention Week
Fire Prevention Week is Oct 8-14.  Don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and check them to make sure they are working properly, clean your chimneys and make sure your wood stoves and furnaces are in proper working order.  Burning permits are available at the Town Offices, please make sure you get one before lighting your fire.  Thank You,

Mental Illness Support For Family members
Does someone close to you suffer from a mental illness? If so there is help, Nouveau Regard provides help on the phone, in group discussions and individual appointments.  This service is confidential and free, you don’t have so suffer alone.
